My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from the University of New Mexico with my BA in English (Go Lobos!), and was certified in Secondary Ed. through San Juan College. I have taught for 9 years, 2 of which were in Japan- so I can speak just a little bit of Japanese. I am excited to be teaching at Basha and looking forward to a great year!
My Educational Philosophy
My goal is to provide the tools and skills that students will need to be successful and responsible citizens when they come to my classroom. Through engaging lessons that teach to various learning styles, and setting high expectations, I aim to see each student can meet their full potential and take charge of their learning journey.
