My Educational Philosophy
I find that staying positive is the best way to motivate students and try to keep seniors engaged and interested in English through my enthusiasm, love, and knowledge. Education doesn't end with senior year, so I hope that my students will leave my classroom not feeling like they have learned it all, but that they are just beginning to learn and that they become curious about all subjects through exploration in English. As for AP Seminar, I know that not all students learn the same way, and this class provides opportunity for individual educational pursuits. I hope to build the Seminar students' confidence and knowledge as well as their college skill sets to assure preparation for academic learning on the next level.
