    The purpose of this organization is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in the students of Basha High School.  Club meetings will be held every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month during conference.    
     
     
    What is NHS?
    • In NHS, you learn leadership skills, provide community service, organize and participate in blood drives, charity fundraisers and other school events
     
    Membership Benefits:
    • Develop/maintain a strong work ethic to guide you through college, future careers and life
    • Participating and organizing events such as Blood Drives, Hugs for the Holidays, and other community outreach events
    • Build teamwork/cooperation through individual/group projects

    Membership Eligibility:

    • Membership is by invite only! Invitations will be sent out to all qualifying candidates in January/February.
    • Candidates must:
      • Be in 11th or 12th grade next year
      • Have a minimum cumulative 3.8 GPA
      • Demonstrate service to their school and community through community service and extra-curricular activities
      • Have an outstanding record of conduct and behavior
      • Complete the application and resume by the deadline given in the invitation letter
