- Head Coach Brian Broderick
-
Coach Broderick is in his first season as the Perry High School Head Coach, and his fourth season overall. The previous three seasons, he spent his time as the PHS pitching coach. A native of Phoenix, Broderick played at Washington High School before pitching for legendary Coach Tony Cirelli at MCC. After MCC, Broderick stayed in the valley and became a member of the GCU Lopes before being selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2007 MLB Draft.
Broderick spent parts of nine seasons as a professional baseball player, including 2011 where he made the opening day roster for the Washington Nationals. His baseball career took him to many places, including two winters in the LMP(Mexico), with him ultimately settling back down in the valley of the sun.
Along with the incredible ethos of the game, Broderick is a teacher to the players. He builds them with simple standards while allowing each young man his own identity.
