    Professional Background: This is my 25th year of teaching English/Language Arts. I have taught at both public and private schools here in Arizona and in Hawaii. This is my 10th year at Perry High School. I earned my bachelor's degree in English from Willamette University (Salem, OR) and my master's degree in secondary education from Chaminade University of Honolulu.
     
    Personal: I was born and raised in Hawaii and have spent the past 14 years in beautiful Arizona. I enjoy reading, traveling, and mountain biking. I really love football and soccer, and am a huge ASU Sun Devil fan!
