    WELCOME LETTER

    Hello Pumas,
Welcome to your senior year at Perry High School!  My name is Kirstin Gregg, and I am the 9th & 11th grade counselor working with students with the last name of H-O. I am entering my 8th year as a counselor at Perry High school and my 12th year working as a counselor in education. Prior to working as a counselor in high school, I worked in the business world as a recruiter for Intel and the University of Phoenix. I have enjoyed the transition into the world of education. I am very passionate about working with adolescents to help them achieve their personal and career goals.

I am an Arizona State University graduate (Go Devils!) with an undergraduate degree in Human Development and a minor in Psychology. I always knew I wanted to work with teenagers in some capacity and found a way to combine my love of coaching volleyball and my passion for helping others. This passion is what prompted me to pursue my Masters in counseling. I graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2003 and I have been working as a counselor ever since.

I live in Chandler with my talented husband and we are blessed three times over with our beautiful and active daughters. When I am not working full time or coaching volleyball, I enjoy spending some much needed down time with my family. We enjoy being outside, traveling, and hanging out with our extended family and friends that also live here in town.

I look forward to meeting with all of you during your senior year to help you achieve your goals this year and beyond. I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with me to help assist you with your post graduate plans. In addition, please take time to schedule an appointment with Ms. Phillips in the Career Center. Together, along with the other counseling staff here at Perry High School, we can help you achieve your goals. Enjoy the ride this year and don’t blink, it will be over before you know it.

    Good Luck Pumas!

    Kirstin Gregg
