Welcome to Perry High!
-
Since opening in the fall of 2007 with approximately 800 students, Perry has become a prime destination for families from across the east valley, currently serving a student body of more than 2,800. Centered around academics, athletics and activities, we are a well-rounded and active community of learners. Students have a wide variety of subjects and courses from which to choose, from Career and Technical Education, Advanced Placement and dual enrollment, to drawing/painting, psychology and dance. We have 90+ student-led clubs on campus, many of them community or service driven. Others are just plain FUN (Harry Potter and Unicycle)! Our men’s/women’s athletic teams are consistently in the conversation for state championships, and often recognized not only for their endeavors on the field or court but in the classroom, as well.
Recognized by the state as an excelling school since its inception, Perry distinguishes itself by providing an enriched environment where students can develop Pride in themselves, their school, and their community; where they can demonstrate Progress in their ability to think critically in a technologically advanced society; and where they can realize their Purpose as responsible citizens.
We are Puma Nation.

Cactus Collective Exhibit - March 2022
Perry High students won Best of Show for their Cactus Collective exhibit at Scottsdale Fashion Square unveiled on March 2. Perry was the only high school participating. They competed against 14 working artists in an open call from Scottsdale Public Art to design an 8 ft. tall Styrofoam cactus based on one of Arizona's five C's. This group chose copper as their theme and wanted to pay respect to all the mining towns in Arizona, as well as the Indigenous tribes that have copper mines on their land. The Scottsdale Cactus Collective exhibit is on display through the end of March. Congratulations to Perry Sculpture teacher Sharon Biemond and her students.
