Matt Balogh enters his first year at PHS as a Varsity Assistant Coach. Matt is a Colorado native who played his college ball at Colby CC (JUCO) and Ouachita Baptist University (NCAA D2) while studying Business Management.

After college, Matt began his international career by playing two seasons in Europe (Germany & Hungary) and one season in Australia (Perth).  During his time overseas, Matt was able to share my passion for baseball with the youth and help grow the game worldwide.  In 2018, Matt was hired as the head coach of the Hungarian national team as they competed at the European Championship.

In 2019, Matt created Nomadic Baseball to help build a pipeline for international players looking to pursue the game at the college/professional level.  They are now operating 7 teams full time in the east valley and have had players from 10 different countries compete in their program.
