James Hogan is in his 2nd year with the Pumas as a Freshman Assistant Coach. James is a third generation Arizona native, graduating with Honors from Show Low High School where he was a 3-year letterman in baseball and basketball and was a two-time Conference Defensive Player of the Year as an outfielder. James went on to college to continue his education and career, obtaining a Degree in Business with Distinctions. Prior to joining Perry's great coaching staff, James had been coaching competitive baseball at various levels and ages. He and his wife Hattie reside in Queen Creek. They have one daughter, three sons, and a granddaughter.
