• Welcome to Basha 8th graders!

    Wednesday, Jan 13, from 6-8 PM the school hosted an open house. Counselors have already been to San Tan and to Payne to present the power point listed below. Due to this very hectic time of year, we cannot hold a meeting other than the time we will meet with each junior high student from one of these feeders scheduled for:

    Payne pick up for schedule requests was Tuesday, Jan 28

    San Tan pick up for schedule requests was Friday, Jan 31

    Here is the  power point  the counselors showed all feeder school 8th graders in January. All 8th graders had 2 weeks to complete registration, print off the registration wish list, make notes (notes such as hoping to be in baseball locker, and notes such as planning on taking alg 1 over the summer, so geometry can be put in its place once summer school is done and the student has emailed their alpha counselor of the success). It is imperative that the students did their registration and returned it when counselors were back on their campuses to collect and reviewed requests. All students not doing their own registration properly will have a schedule built for them. Please understand, we hire teachers in March based on student requests, so changes are highly unlikely before school resumes in July. The registration worksheet is here. 

    If you have questions, please email your student's high school counselor. Since we are out of our offices until mid-Feb doing registration, phone calls are very difficult to return.

    AMS Registration

    Monday, Feb 3 counselors presented through social studies classes. Here is the power point and the registration slides. 

    Friday, Feb 7 AMS students will see their alpha counselor during their social studies classes. All AMS students should have their request print out signed by a parent/guardian at that time. This visit is quick so please make sure your student is fully registered. Due to our short registration window and our highly booked schedules we are unable to accommodate parent meetings but counselors are working diligently on returning emails when in their offices.
