Constant news:
The Maricopa Community College's Achieving a College Education (ACE) program is a two-year program designed to increase the number of students that graduate from high school, matriculate to college and earn a degree or certificate. ACE targets first-generation high school students. Students that are selected at the end of 10th grade start the ACE program during the summer between the 10th and 11th grades. ACE offers a supportive cohort-based program that offers participants the opportunity to begin earning college credits, strengthen academic skills and raise self-esteem. As soon as you struggle in any class, ask your teacher when their tutor times are. Don't wait until you are feeling lost before you reach out. You should look at your grades every Wednesday in Infinite Campus. If you see a discrepancy, talk to your teacher immediately. Every Friday we want you to feel safe with the grade you are earning and viewing in IC.
Get involved and be your best you this year! It is a great time to be a bear!
