We are in the last quarter! Grades will post on the transcript around June 7.
If you want an online class with COA for next year you will need to wait to see your counselor until May 1. Their site is locked in for scheduling now.
Seniors, if you missed your final credit check with your counselor, please see them ASAP to get your name printed in the program and cleared for graduation.
If you are in need of your final official transcript you must go to Parchment.com and create an account using a personal email address. Once you graduate you no longer have a school email address. Be sure to check the box for "wait for final grades" in Parchment. Transcripts are finalized mid June. Even if your college contacts you stating they have not received the transcript please be patient--often times the college has the transript but the person requesting it may be in the queue themselves to receive it.
Registration for next year is done. The scheduler is building the schedules and teachers are being offered contracts. Nothing is set in stone until school starts and then, rarely but possible, it may still change if we lose a teacher. Be patient please.
If you are taking wanting or needing summer school please contact your alpha counselor via email and request to be registered.
Summer school dates for summer 2025
Your student must request registration for summer school with their counselor ASAP to reserve a spot in summer classes.

As of now, there are 4 seals a student may earn for their diploma. Each seal has its own requirements, so please read carefully.

Constant News
Parents, even though your student is growing and looking older, we ask that you monitor the weekly grades and email teachers with any concerns. Ask your student if they turned in the assignment late or took a test late and then follow up with the teacher to inquire when the late work will be graded. Please understand that teachers budget their time, so late work may take a backseat while they are keeping up with their own timelines. We ask you to monitor grades weekly until the day they graduate. This is the best way to launch them on to a successful path after high school. Email teachers directly with any concerns or questions; the counselor can only see the same grade report you see. If a student fails a class, it is expected the parent and student will confer with the counselor to set up summer school the following summer. While summer school is online for the most part, the finals are in person, so families must adjust any summer travel to the summer timeline. Counselors will have summer information in late January.
Time to make sure you have accepted your counselor's invite to Google Classroom. If you are brand new and do not see an invitation, please email your counselor at their @cusd80.com email to request you be added.
Look at this every week so you know what your counselor is doing with you!!!
Settle in with your classes. Get to know your teachers by going in for tutoring, even if you don't need it. Sometimes it is great to do your homework in your teacher's classroom after school...then if you get stuck the teacher is right there! Classes are more exciting when you develop a relationship with your teachers.
Tutoring schedules per department are posted on this page under Tutoring. Our own Link Crew offers tutoring every Monday and Wednesday with peers in room F103. Just go and do your homework and a peer will be there to assist.
NOTICE: Any classes taken at a charter or online school that is not within the CUSD school system must have prior approval from the counselor and a contract signed. CUSD does not accept core classes from non-accredited and non-in-person exam schools, so please work with a counselor prior to registering students.
