Welcome to Ms. Johnson's 7th and 8th grade technology classes: Media/TV Productions, Digital Media, Yearbook, and Computer Applications.
My Education and Professional Background
Ms. Johnson graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1998 with a degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis on junior high science education. After moving to Phoenix after graduation, she taught 8th grade science in the Kyrene School district for nine years. During that time, she discovered a passion for integrating technology into her curriculum and helping others improve their technology skills. She earned her Master's of Education Degree in Educational Technology from NAU in 2006 and became a technology teacher. Helping students discover new abilities through using technology continues to be her passion.
My Educational Philosophy
There is always something new to learn, a different way to think about concepts, and a new way to look at situations. Learning never stops; it just evolves. Ms. Johnson's goal is to help foster students' creativity so they can become productive digital citizens and proficient contributors in this technological age.
