    Welcome to 8th Grade Science!
    I began my teaching career in the Mesa District at Rhodes Junior High. After two years in the Mesa District, I moved to the Chandler District and began teaching at Santan Junior High.

    My Education and Professional Background

    Upon graduating from Dobson High School in Mesa, I completed my undergraduate degree in education & biology from Northern Arizona University.  I went back to school to earn my Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction in 2007; also from Northern Arizona University.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal for all students is to have success in the classroom. In order to accomplish this, I insists that my students play an active role in their science education. Students who are willing to open their minds to science will gain the most knowledge.
