    Welcome!

    Welcome to 8th grade math! I am an Arizona native and have lived in Chandler for over 20 years. I began my teaching career at Santan Elementary in 2008. Outside of school you can find me exercising and coaching at the gym, playing guitar, or spending time with my wife and two daughters.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from ASU in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education. In 2022 I received my certificate for Middle Grades Mathematics.

    My Educational Philosophy

    The three most important things I believe in with education are Respect, Responsibility, and Fun. I want my students to learn with these traits in mind, and I focus my teaching on these traits as well. I expect students to respect themselves, their peers, and their education. I want them to be responsible for doing the best they can. And I want them to enjoy as much of the experience as they can. In turn, it is my responsibility to respect their individual personalities and learning styles and to make sure they are able to laugh every day.
