SEIMy Educational Philosophy
I absolutely love teaching and love working with young minds. My goal is to help ALL students become problem solvers and to approach situations with a great attitude. I pride myself in creating a classroom climate where students feel encouraged to participate by sharing and presenting information to their peers and to critique the work of others. It is extremely important for my students to try their best and to understand that making mistakes is how we learn but we all have to start somewhere. Learning math is definitely a process and sometimes it takes longer that we anticipate. I enjoy seeing my students succeed and grow throughout the year. I feel it is really important for my students to be self-advocates and develop skills that will help them succeed in high school and life in general.
