    Honor Flight Arizona
For the sixth year in a row, Basha High School cadets, under the direction of Colonel Clifford Stansell, raised money for Honor Flight Arizona, a program that sends WWII/Korean and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C. free of charge. Cadets simply brought in loose change (pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters) and did this internally without asking for donations from any of the other classes in the school. This year they raised $1,725 and is by far largest donation ever! Honor Flight Arizona website

    Dannielle Tumpap
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Dannielle Tumpap is currently on her sixth year at Basha High -- not as a super, super senior but as a former Basha Accelerated Middle School student. Dannielle has been involved in a variety of different clubs and programs. She participated in orchestra since starting her journey as a Basha Bear, constantly repping her fellow violists, which she likes to refer to as the "underdogs of the ensemble." Her time has also been spent leading clubs like ITS (International Thespian Society), Tri-M, Orchestra Council, and H4H as well as being a part of Link Crew and National Honor Society while managing to stay in the top of her class. Dannielle's favorite moments have included performing in several shows, like Lady Dracula and Les Miserables, joining the improv team (Sudden Impact Comedy Improv), and singing for the ACE showcase every year. Brianna Persiani
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  To say that Brianna Persiani has been busy during her high school career would be a gross understatement. Throughout the last four years, Brianna has been part of many clubs. She has served as Captain of the Girls Golf Team, Vice President of Academic Decathlon, Secretary of DECA and Secretary of International Thespians Society -- all while maintaining a 4.45 GPA. Additionally, she has been a member of National Honors Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. During her free time, she loves giving back to her community by volunteering at the Grove Church, Girl Scouts of America and other organizations. Besides being involved with many clubs, Brianna went a step further and created her own club, called Oldies But Goodies, that goes around to nursing homes and assisted living facilities and performs for residents. Her heart for helping others is what led her to receive 1st place in the Basha Gives Back Scholarship. She looks forward to attending GCU this fall. Basha High Seniors Highlights
