In addition he founded and became president of a political club on campus and joined the National Honor Society. Outside school, he volunteered hundreds of community service hours to Chandler Police Cadets. Academically, he scored a 32 on the ACT and maintained a 4.67 weighted grade point average. He feels most fortunate to have received a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship and Presidential scholarship to ASU. Alexander plans on serving in the Navy after college and pursuing a career in Naval Aviation. While being raised by a single father who works as a police sergeant, he feels he could not have achieved half of these goals without the tremendous support of the patient and talented teachers, trainers, coaches, and other faculty on campus. He wishes to thank Chandler Unified School District and Basha High School for helping him pursue his goals and continued education. Basha High Seniors Highlights

Sydney switched over from hitting righty to slapping on the left side to use the speed she had. Since then, Sydney has acquired so much confidence hitting left handed. Last season, Sydney made 1st Team All CUSD, 1st Team All-Region, and has signed to continue playing softball at Mesa Community College next season on a Presidential Scholarship.
