• Information for Future Members

    NHS membership is by invitation. In the Spring, all Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors that have a 3.8 GPA are invited to apply for NHS.

    The application asks the student to provided evidence of three things: academic achievement, involvement in the community (volunteer service hours), and involvement at PHS (clubs, sports, academics).

    These applications, and teacher recommendations, are reviewed by a committee and those students whose applications are approved by the committee are offered membership in NHS. 
     
    *The applicaton process for the 2021- 2022 school year will be held virtually with a few adjustments due to COVID- 19. More information regarding the NHS application will be released in March 2021.*
