• How can I check grades online?

    Posted by:
The Infinite Campus Portal allows you to see grades in all your classes here at Perry.  If you do not have a password, please contact the school to obtain that information.  Mrs. Trollope updates grades at least once each week.

  • I am struggling to complete my homework, what should I do?

    Posted by:
Make sure you review your notes for the lesson. If your notes are not complete or you were absent for the lesson, use the textbook to see examples for each type of problem on the homework.  Algebra 2 and honors algebra 2 students have access to the online textbook which also includes video tutorials for most problems.  The MOST IMPORTANT thing when you get stuck on your homework is to NOT leave the question blank.  Write down what you do understand and write questions to ask your teacher at the start of class the next day.  A blank problem looks like you did not attempt it.

  • Can I redo assignments to improve my grade?

    Posted by:

Yes!  Redoing homework is highly encouraged as a learning tool.  If you did not do well on the assignment on your first try, it is important to learn from your mistakes so you don't continue to make them.  Just redo the problems you missed on a separate piece of paper, be sure to show your work, and then write me a sentence or two to identify the error in your reasoning.  Corrections should be submitted in the same form as the assignment was given...either submitted in Google classroom or in writing.  All corrections must be completd prior to the next assessment and will receive full credit for problems that fixed correctly.

  • Can I retake a test or quiz on which I did poorly?

    Posted by:

Quizzes may be corrected for partial credit as long as all homework assignments have been completed and turned in.  Quiz corrections must be completed during after school tutoring and finished prior to the unit test.  Tests CANNOT be retaken or corrected.  You are responsible for completing all work prior to the unit test and making sure you have asked questions if you have them.  You should be prepared for the test and ready to put your best foot forward.  There are no corrections for tests.

Precalculus students are not able to make corrections on quizzes or tests for additional credit.

  • Do you accept late assignments?

    Posted by:

Assignments are accepted late in honors algebra 2 and algebra 2 only.  The work will be reduced to a maximum score of 50% and is only accepted until the date of the unit test.

No late work is accepted in precalculus.
