• Part-Time Enrollment 
     
     Junior high and high school students scheduled to attend a CUSD school for less than a full schedule (less than 6 classes) may also enroll part-time with Chandler Online Academy to take the remaining classes online, for a total of 6 classes combined. Students needing to re-take a class for credit recovery (to replace a failing grade) or grade replacement (to improve a grade) will need to complete tuition-payer enrollment and pay $160 for each 0.5 class.   

    Steps to enroll as a Part-Time student with Chandler Online Academy 

    1. To apply for Part-Time enrollment with COA, students are required to meet with their assigned Guidance Counselor at the brick & mortar school first. This meeting is to determine whether a schedule that includes a combination of classes at the brick & mortar and COA online courses would be an appropriate solution to achieve the student's academic goals and an effective learning setting for the student. 

    2. Review the Part-Time Enrollment description, requirements, and policies on the "Part-Time/Tuition-Payer Online Enrollment" page on our website to be sure the student will be able to meet all program progress and attendance requirements.

    3. Click the link below to complete the form for Part-Time enrollment.  

    4. Check email daily to look for the Welcome Email that will contain the link and username/password to log in to the online classroom. The day you receive this email is the official first day of your course session. ALL COURSES WILL HAVE A START DATE of the Tuesday after the enrollment is received.

    5. You must log in within 2 days of receiving the Welcome Email and begin submitting all assignments according to the due dates on the Due Soon List.  Log in and start learning!

    6. Find the "Target End Date" to the right of each online course under "My Courses" upon logging in for the first time so you know when the course must be completed.  Watch for assignments as they become due and appear on the "Due Soon List" on the left side of the screen and monitor your grade and progress on the "Grades" page for each class.  You must submit all assignments when they are due and complete all assignments and assessments AND YOUR FINAL EXAM by the "Target End Date."    See the "Part-Time/Tuition-Payer Online Enrollment" page for more information on schedules for Part-Time Enrollment.
