KCP Link Crew is excited to share details for New Student Orientation. We are excited to meet and welcome our new Knights to ACP! All new students will be invited to complete a one hour virtual session and a 2-hour in-person session on July 19th. Please find specific details below…

Who: Class of 2025 (freshman) and all students new to ACP High School

What: A spirited, informative orientation led by KCP Link Crew to introduce our freshmen and new students to high school life at ACP, including a tour, and some interactive sessions.

    Date: Monday, July 19th

    Location and Time :

    Part 1: Virtual Session From 9:30am – 10:30am

Students will meet with their mentors VIRTUALLY. Student mentors will share a Google Meet Link for their meeting the week prior. The Google Meet Link will be emailed to the preferred email students provided on their New Student Survey. If you have not completed the survey, please do so here, Incoming Freshman Survey or New Incoming Sophomore through Senior Survey. Students will need a device that can connect to the internet with sound and a camera (most phones, laptops, and desktop computers should work just fine). Please reach out to Josh Roth (roth.joshua@cusd80.com) or Britni Michaelson (Michaelson.britni@cusd80.com) if you need help meeting this need. If your student has not received their Google Meet Link by July 16th, please reach out to Mrs. Michaelson or Mr. Roth.

    Part 2: In-Person Session from 12:00pm to 2:00pm

All new students are invited to meet their mentors in-person at our brand new Arizona College Prep High School Campus (4477 S. Gilbert Rd., Chandler, AZ 85249). Students will receive a tour of the new campus and have an opportunity to find their classes. Students will enter campus the same way as they will the first day of school, entering the campus using the entrance from Gilbert road. Parking and drop-off will occur in the east and north parking lots, as students will enter the school through our north entrance.

All freshmen and students new to ACP are welcome, but not required to attend. Please note transportation is not provided and must be arranged by the student (drop off and pick up). Casual summer attire is fine, but must be within appropriate school guidelines. Students just need to bring themselves and maybe water to help with the heat, but most activities will be indoors. We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2025 and all students new to ACP High School and are eager to meet them. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Josh Roth (roth.joshua@cusd80.com) or Britni Michaelson (Michaelson.britni@cusd80.com) See you in July ! Go KNIGHTS!
