    My Education and Professional Background

    I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry through Northern Arizona University, and then went on to complete my Master of Education degree through the University of Arizona. I am highly qualified to teach Chemistry, Biology, and General Science. I have taught in multiple school districts throughout Arizona, at both the middle school and high school level, but I have spent the vast majority of my career within Chandler Unified.

       

    My Educational Philosophy

    Science is life. Your knowledge of science will facilitate and benefit the life you lead. Learn it well. The purpose of science is to understand natural phenomena and the world around us through investigation and inquiry. While the road to success may not always be smooth, I strive to prepare students to rise to the occasion and fully believe that everyone can build a solid science foundation with the proper mindset. With a solid work ethic, perseverance, ambition, and a positive attitude, success is possible.
