Please DO NOT submit multiple applications to ACPHS. If you submit your open enrollment application more than once, the later date and timestamp is what will be applied.2. If you apply to multiple CUSD schools for the same student, both applications may be denied.3. You will be notified by the CUSD District Office, as to whether your open enrollment application is approved or denied. The district office will notify you by US Mail using the address you provided on the open enrollment application.4. Processing of applications takes 4-6 weeks before you will be notified of your status.5. Please DO NOT send birth certificates, utility bills, immunizations, etc. You are simply applying to attend ACPHS and not registering. Should your application be approved, the registrar will reach out to you and inform you of what documents are needed.Please only submit grades, attendance, and discipline reports along with your completed open enrollment application.6. If you send your open enrollment application, and then send the supporting documents in a separate email, (grade report, attendance report, discipline report, IEP/504-if applicable), you will receive the later timestamp. It is best to be prepared and send everything in one email.7. Siblings of current ACPHS students who will be returning next year are not guaranteed a place at our school. You must still submit an open enrollment application and it is still first-come/first-served based on the date and timestamp of your application.**************************************************If you would like to enroll at ACPHS for the 2023-2024 school year, please continue reading for enrollment procedures.Open Enrollment begins on January 9th, 2023 at 7:30am.If your student currently attends a school that is not a part of CUSD, you MUST provide a grade report, attendance report and discipline report. If you DO NOT reside within the ACPHS boundary, you will need to submit an open enrollment application for ACPHS. Please read the information provided to ensure your application is complete and can be processed without delay.
- Open enrollments may be submitted via email to Linda Bigelow (bigelow.linda@cusd80.com) at ACPHS, or they may also be dropped off directly to the school site. You may also drop your application off at the district office, or any CUSD secondary school. No priority is given to applications dropped off in person versus applications that are sent through email or vice versa.
- If your student DOES NOT currently attend a CUSD school, the application MUST include:
- your students' grades report or transcript (transcript required for new to CUSD 9-12 students),
- attendance report
- behavior reports.
- Students currently attending a site on open enrollment do NOT need to re-apply to remain at the same site for the next school year.
- It is expected that the student on open enrollment remain at the requested school for the entire school year. Revoking an open enrollment to return to boundary CUSD school mid-year requires district approval.
- If you do not currently attend a CUSD school, your application must have the most recent grade report or transcript, attendance, discipline reports and current IEP (if applicable) attached. If any of this information is missing, the application cannot be processed.
- One application per student is accepted. Please do not submit applications to more than one site.
- Providing false information will result in the request being denied and/or admission being revoked.
- Transportation (bussing) is not provided to students on open enrollment.
- It is recommended that the student remain at their current school while awaiting open enrollment decision. Please do not withdraw your student from school until the open enrollment application has been approved.
- Grades 9-12 Special Note Regarding Athletics and Extracurricular Activities: Eligibility for athletics and certain extracurricular activities may be affected when students transfer from one school to another. A student considering transfer is advised to discuss his/her situation with the Athletic Director at the site of current enrollment.

If you would like to enroll at ACPHS for the 2022-2023 school year, please continue reading for enrollment procedures.

New Parents: For parents new to CUSD (grades K-12), click here to begin your child's registration process for your attendance boundary school. Registrations are being accepted for the current school year, 2022-23 and next school year, 2023-24.
Preschool and PreKindergarten Families: Please click here for information on how to enroll in one of our preschool (age 3, by August 31) or pre-kindergarten (age 4, by August 31) programs.
Open Enrollment: Families interested in their child attending a school other than their attendance boundary school will need to apply for open enrollment. Open enrollments are being accepted for the current school year, 2022-23 and next school year, 2023-24 school year.
If applying for an open enrollment school, please do not complete your child's registration for the Open Enrollment school UNTIL you have received your approval email or letter.

- Emergency contact – names and phone numbers
- *Proof of Residency – current utility bill, lease agreement, etc. (see Acceptable Proof of Residency under Additional Student Registration Information)
- State certified birth certificate
- Legal guardian or legal custody papers (if the parent/legal guardian is not on the birth certificate)
