• Stole and Cord Information

     

    Honors Awards - Stoles

    Summa Cum Laude (white stole) 
    To qualify, a student must achieve a 4.5 - 5.0 GPA.

    Magna Cum Laude (silver stole) 
    To qualify, a student must achieve a 4.25 - 4.49 GPA.

    Cum Laude (black stole)
    To qualify, a student must achieve a 3.75 - 4.24 GPA.

    Senior Advanced Placement Awards

    National AP Scholars (white cord)
    Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.

    AP Scholar with Distinction (silver cord)
    Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

    AP Scholar with Honors (black cord)
    Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

    AP Scholar (purple cord)
    Granted to students who receive grades of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
