    **All shadow days are full.  You can put your name on a wait list for upcoming dates and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.**
     

    Welcome to Chandler High School!

     

    We welcome current 8th grade students to come to a Student Shadow Day at Chandler High School.  The 8th grade students will be paired with a 9th Grade Student Ambassador who is currently participating in the IB Middle Years Program at CHS.

     

    The schedule for the day is as follows:

    7:00am - 7:15am       Visiting 8th grade students arrive on campus (Parents drop off at Main Office)

    7:25am                           1st period
    8:33am                       2nd period
    9:36am                           3rd period
    10:32am                        Lunch – The 8th grade student will accompany the student ambassador during the closed campus FRESHMAN                                             LUNCH period.  
                                  Student shadows should either bring a lunch, or bring $4.00 to buy lunch.
    11:07am                        4th period
     (**If the 8th grade shadow student is assigned a student ambassador that has "B" Lunch, they will both leave class 5 min. early to get their lunch and will eat in the College and Career Center**)
    12:15pm                        5th period 
    1:18pm                      6th period
    1:40pm                      Optional Parent Information Session - College and Career Center
                                       Check in at the main office.
    2:14pm                      Students will meet parents in the front office to be checked out
     
     

    Our goals are to give the 8th grade students an idea of what a typical day is like for a 9th Grade Honors student.
