Welcome to Theatre!
My Education and Professional Background
I have been teaching at Chandler High School since 2008-09. I am an ASU graduate and a currently pursuing my Masters degree from GCU. I have always wanted to teach and come from a long line of educators. Both of my parents, as well as my sister, are educators. I have also been a professional actress for over 20 years. I have performed all over the world including: Les Miserables (Broadway/National Tour - Eponine, Cosette, Ensemble), Walt Disney World (The Voyage of the Little Mermaid - Ariel
My Educational Philosophy
I believe every student can benefit from learning and working in the theatre. Through learning the fundamentals of Acting and Technical Theatre, students learn how to create a production from conception to performance. Whether they are on the stage or behind-the-scenes, they will not only learn about stage production, but they will also learn about themselves, how to work in teams, and create friendships and memories that will last a lifetime! I believe that by creating a safe and creative I believe that by creating a safe space to work, students will create and perform in ways they never even imagined!
