    Welcome!

    Welcome to Chandler High School! I am excited to be your teacher and look forward to an amazing year in English 9 and English 11. I am originally from San Diego, California, but have also lived in Utah, upstate New York and Madrid, Spain. I am married and have four kids of my own. In my spare time, I love reading and all things pop culture, especially Disney, Harry Potter, and Marvel.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a bachelor's degree in English Literature from the University of Utah, a teaching certificate from Rio Salado with an SEI endorsement, and a graduate degree in English Education from Arizona State University.  For the last 7 years, I have been teaching English in Chandler Unified School District and feel proud to now call myself a Chandler Wolf.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I am committed to every child's success. I believe that every student matters and their voices should be heard. By incorporating movement, activities, and discussion in the classroom, students experience academic rigor, develop a passion for learning, and feel a sense of community where everyone belongs. I have an open-door policy. That means that every question is important because if it matters to you, it matters to me.
