    Welcome!

    Hello, and welcome to my 2023-2024 Algebra and Geometry classes. I'm looking forward to having a great school year and helping to guide you on your math journey.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have completed the following degrees:

    Associates in Business Administration (Bakersfield College)

    Associates in Economics (Bakersfield College)

    Bachelors in Business Administration (Grand Canyon University)

    Masters in Secondary Education, STEM (Grand Canyon University)

    After a career in finance and management, I have worked as a teacher for 4 years (this is my 5th year).  I taught Algebra, Geometry, Applied Math, and ELL Math the previous four years at North Canyon High School in the Paradise Valley Unified School District.  This will be my first year teaching Algebra and Geometry at Chandler High.

    My Educational Philosophy

    It is my belief that students learn best when they feel safe, encouraged, and supported. To that end, it is important to me that my classroom is one in which students are accepted, and respected, for who they are, and that questions are asked when in need of help. Remember, there is no bad question except the one you don't ask.
