About
Ellsworth...
Welcome to Spanish 1 and 2. I began teaching at Chandler High School in 2004 and before that I taught Spanish in the Phoenix Unified School District for 17 years. I have traveled and lived in various Spanish speaking countries and I am fluent in the Spanish language. I enjoy teaching Spanish and helping students gain confidence in learning a new language.
My Education and Professional Background
I have a Masters Degree in Administration and I graduated from ASU with a Bachelors Degree in Spanish and Physical Education. I began teaching in 1987 in Phoenix and in Chandler in 2004. I have lived in various Spanish speaking countries and encourage students to travel as well.
My Educational Philosophy
My educational philosophy is that every student can learn and can speak Spanish. I enjoy teaching and speaking Spanish and I think our classroom and school should be enjoyable. I want students to give 100 percent and I will make their effort worth my 100 percent as a teacher. I value education and I think public education is where students learn from each other and teachers to get a total life education.
