    Welcome!

    Hello CHS families! Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. I am Mr. Hunter and I'm very excited to be working with your students. This is my 25th year in the Chandler Unified School District. I taught at Willis Jr. High for 12 years and this is the start of my 13th year here at Chandler High.

    I am not only a teacher at Chandler, I am also the Boy's Varsity Soccer Head Coach. This will be 14 years with the boys program and it has been a blast. Some great memories were winning the D1 State Championship in 2015 (first one for Chandler High School), having an undefeated season until the semifinals in 2018, and being 6A State Runner-Ups in 2022 (had two of my kids on this team: Dillon and Grayson).

    I've been married for 22 years and we have 4 amazing children (Dillon, Grayson, Jaxen, and Myla). Let's have a great year!

    1999-Present: Coaching junior high to high school levels, coaching club soccer

    2000-Present: Actor/Commercial Print work with Ford Robert Black Ageny in Scottsdale.  

    2001-Present: Teaching at the Willis Jr. High and Chandler High School

    2016-Present: Director of Coaching at East Valley NSFC Soccer Club   

    My Educational Philosophy

    My personal education philosophy is your control your own education. Think, act, and do what you need and want to do for yourself and don't let anyone tell you that you can't be what you want to be. Study hard to challenge yourself and when a problem arises, conquer it with all you got. You make the choice!
