    Dorrance Scholarship:  Are you a first-generation college student with a minimum GPA of 3.0, minimum combined SAT score of 1120 or composite ACT score of 22 who will be attending ASU, UofA, or NAU?  The Dorrance Scholarship program offers $12,000 per year, provides a  Dorrance advisor, and much more.  Please see Ms. Jaramillo in the College and Career Center for more specific criteria needed in order to apply.  Deadline to submit Phase 1 is February 7th.

    Seniors of Chinese Descent:  GFWC-Desert Jade Women’s Club is offering 6 scholarships to graduating high school seniors of Chinese descent.  Please see Ms. Jaramillo in the College and Career Center for an application.  Deadline to submit applications is March 9th.
     
    Scholarship available to female seniors:  The East Valley Women’s Scholarship Selection Committee, in conjunction with the family of Stephanie Graham, is offering a $2000 scholarship  to a female senior who exhibits service to the community, participation in extra-curricular activities, has a minimum GPA of 2.5, and demonstrates financial need.  Please see Ms. Jaramillo in the College and Career Center information.  Deadline to apply is February 16th.
     
    Hermanas Conference permission slips are due to Ms. Jaramillo in the College and Career Center by Friday, January 19th.
     
    Baseball: Anyone interested in playing baseball there will be an information meeting on Thursday Jan.18th during both “A” and “B” lunch in the Payne gym.
     
    12th Grade Males: The Victor M. Cooper and Saunders Montague Scholarships are now available.  Both of these $500.00 scholarships were established in 2013 by the Chandler Men of Action.  These scholarships were created to provide financial assistance to African-American males continuing their education in college.  Please see Ms. Jaramillo in the College and Career Center for information.  Deadline to apply is January 31st.
     
    SENIORS: CEF private donor scholarships for the class of 2018 are now available!  Please see Ms. Jaramillo in the College and Career Center for specific instructions on how to access these scholarships.
     
    The Native American Club will meet on Wednesday, January 17th after school in room 209.  Hope to see you all there!
