    Welcome!

    Welcome to Mrs. Moxley's class! I am excited to be teaching among amazing faculty here at Chandler High School. I am once again elated to be teaching English classes for second language learners, beginning swim, lifeguarding, and being the girls' head coach for the Chandler High Swim and Dive Team. I live just a few minutes away from school with my husband, David, and our kids, Alex, Jack, and Zoey.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University in 1997 with a B.A. in Education, and earned my Master's degree from Northern Arizona University in 2004. I have a Reading and an English as a Second Language endorsement as well. I began teaching in 1997, and have taught in Chandler since 2002. I have been a reading specialist and have taught a variety of grade levels over the course of my career, including elementary school. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    In the classroom, I strive to provide the best education possible by promoting and expecting respect, compassion, and success for (and from) all students. Our classroom is a community where group collaboration is practiced and individual needs, ideas, and differences are revered. I expect each student to come to class on time and prepared with the willingness to work hard and learn.
