    Welcome!

    Welcome! I am Mrs. Azurdia, School Social Worker. This is my second year at Auxier. I am excited to work with our students, families, teachers, and community this year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Cal State University, Bakersfield. I received my Master of Social Work degree from Azusa Pacific University. My previous experience includes working with foster care/adoption children and families, emergency response, and medical social work.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Our students succeed when they have the proper supports, they feel safe and valued. My role includes being an integral link between school, home, and community in helping students achieve academic success. I will work directly with school administration as well as students and families by providing social and emotional learning, crisis management, and support services.
