About
Butler...
Welcome! Let me start by saying, I LOVE TEACHING! I love getting to know my students and helping them achieve their goals. I hope to inspire them as they inspire me. Every year is a great year filled with new and exciting possibilities. I can't wait for them all! Please feel free to contact me anytime.
My Education and Professional Background
I have been teaching since 1995 and have been at Hamilton since 2007. In 1995, I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Education with a minor in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University. In 2002, I graduated with my Masters from again from NAU. I have my certification in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Mathematics and Library/Media.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that every child is unique. My job as a teacher is to facilitate the individual's learning needs. I want to help my students become critical, creative thinkers because I believe those skills are the hardest to develop but are the most rewarding to achieve.
