    Welcome!

    Welcome! I started teaching at Hamilton High School in the Fall of 2015. For my first eight years, I taught all English 11 classes. In the Fall of 2023, I moved over to the CTE (Career and Technical Education) world to pursue my love of teaching digital media. There's no better place to be than in CUSD!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English. I received my Master’s degree (Curriculum Assessment and Development with an emphasis in Reading) in February of 2016. I was also a four-year student-athlete during my time at Grand Canyon University. In the Spring of 2023, I completed the necessary classes to become a CTE certified educator. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    Students in my class are encouraged to take risks. They are encouraged to think critically and creatively, without fear of being punished for thinking outside the box. Every student is an individual, and it is my responsibility to help each individual grow academically, as well as socially.
