Welcome to my English 11 classes! I started teaching at Hamilton High School in the Fall of 2015, and I am very excited to be at this excelling school.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in English. I received my Master’s degree in February of 2016. My Master’s is in Curriculum Assessment and Development with an emphasis in Reading. I was also a four year student-athlete during my time at Grand Canyon University.
My Educational Philosophy
Students in my class are encouraged to take risks. They are encouraged to think critically and creatively, without fear of being punished for thinking outside the box. Every student is an individual and it is my responsibility to help each individual grow academically, as well as socially.
