• National Honor Society - Cleveland Innovation

    NHS membership will be considered for any student with at least a 3.8 weighted GPA or better.  It is the students' responsibility to know their GPA and apply for membership.  Letters are NOT sent to students.    Membership is based on the 4 pillars of the NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. 

    The student candidate will be eligible to apply based on the pillar of scholarship (the GPA will fulfill this).  The application next asks the student to provide evidence of three more pillars: involvement in the community (volunteer service hours), involvement at HHS (clubs, sports, academics) and leadership.

    This application, in addition to teacher recommendations (the fourth pillar of character), is reviewed by a committee and those students whose application is approved by the committee are offered membership in the Hamilton Chapter of the National Honor Society.

    February 3, 2025- Digital application 

    February 21, 2025: Applications due digitally 

    February 27, 2025: Notification of selection results via student's gse email

    March 6, 2025: Induction Ceremony (MANDATORY FOR MEMBERSHIP)
