NROTC Navy and Marine Corps Program
The Navy Reserve Officers Training Program (NROTC) is a multi-year program that runs concurrently with a student’s normal college or university educational course of study. In addition to a normal academic workload leading to a Baccalaureate degree, NROTC students attend classes in Naval Science, participate in the NROTC unit for drill, physical training, and other activities, and are generally taught the leadership principles and high ideals of a military officer.The Marine Corps Option, similar to the NROTC are also offreed at selective college and universities. successful completion of required courses and training, a midshipman is appointed a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. Each Marine Corps Recruiting District screens and selects applicants for the Marine Option NROTC 4-year Scholarship Program. There is a limit to the number of scholarship awarded each year.
