(Hamilton does not offer the PSAT 10 or the PSAT 8/9.)

Friday, Aug 1, 2025 - Registration begins for Juniors only.
Monday, Aug 18, 2025 - Sophomore and Freshmen registration begins. Juniors may continue to sign up.
Thursday, Sep 4, 2025 at 6pm - Registration Ends
Friday, Sep 5, 2025 at 2:30pm - Payment deadline
Friday, Sep 5, 2025 - Registrations that have not been paid for will be canceled.

- When will the test be administered?
On Saturday, October 11, 2025 we will be offering the PSAT NMSQT at Hamilton.
- Where will the test be administered?
The test will take place at Hamilton. Students should arrive between 7:30 – 7:45 am. Testing will begin at 8:00am and will end around 12:00pm.
- Who is eligible to take the PSAT NMSQT?
Hamilton offers testing spots for current 9th, 10th & 11th Hamilton High School students.
- How do I register for the PSAT NMSQT and how do I pay for it?

The cost of the test is $25, and payments can be made through Infinite Campus Parent Portal or in person at the bookstore.
The deadline to register for the test is Thursday, September 4, 2025.
- Why should my student take the PSAT NMSQT?
Scholarship opportunities: Junior year, a high score on the PSAT could qualify your student for the National Merit Scholarship Competition. This may result in thousands of dollars and opportunities to attend a prestigious university.
Free Test Preparation: Save hundreds of dollars on test preparation books or tutoring. The exam provides a detailed score report. Your student can link their scores to Khan Academy to create an individualized SAT test preparation program free of charge.
Practice, Practice, Practice: Multiple exposures to the PSAT will prepare students to take the SAT at the end of their junior year. This is often the first experience students have with a timed standardized test. Practice tests are available on Khan Academy.
