I was born and raised in the bay area just outside of San Francisco, CA. I received my B.S. at the university of CA at Davis in
Physics before obtaining my teaching credential at Sacramento State University. I taught for 4 years in California before moving to Arizona where I am currently teaching for my 17th year at Hamilton. Over my career I have taught Physics, Honors Physics, AP Physics B, AP Physics 1, AP Physics C, Physics Engineering, Earth Science, and Investigative Science. During my high school and college years I had worked many jobs including but not limited to restaurant server, hardware test engineer, movie theater projectionist, and wildland fire fighter. My wife also attended UC Davis and we have three daughters, ages five, ten, and fourteen. I am a big sports fan and an even stronger
49ers fan. I spend my free time gaming, working out, refereeing soccer, and playing guitar.
