Delavigne...
Hello, I am Valerie Delavigne. I am a Native Texan currently residing in Gilbert, Arizona with my husband, Matt and our four children. I love camping, college football Saturday, Los Angeles Dodgers Baseball, reading and grilling.
My Education and Professional Background
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Substance Abuse Studies from Texas Tech University in 1994. In November of 2020, I earned my Master of Education in Special Education through Grand Canyon University. This is my 2nd year at Casteel. I will be teaching Strategies for 7th-10th grade this year. Prior to working in CUSD, I worked over 15 years in the behavioral health field.
My Educational Philosophy
In our classroom, we will: Build a classroom COMMUNITY. Find SUPPORT within our classroom community. Step outside our comfort zone to STRETCH & GROW. Use our voice to ADVOCATE for ourselves.
