About
Lipinski...
Welcome to Life Connections and Careers. In this class, students will learn good habits to become a successful student, including time management, goal setting, and effective communication. They will also learn note-taking strategies, take career inventories, and create career profiles and college portfolios. Please check the links on the left for additional information about the class. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
My Education and Professional Background
After receiving my teaching certificate from ASU, I began teaching Spanish in the Kyrene School District, later trading languages and teaching adult English Language Learners, and then returning to teach Spanish part-time here at Casteel. When the opportunity came to teach LCC and return to my passion for college and career exploration, I jumped at the chance to use my background in counseling. I feel fortunate to be in the CTE Department and look forward to helping students understand their potential and help them realize their goals.
My Educational Philosophy
As a teacher, I understand that all students learn in different ways and have different strengths. I hope that my students know that they are valued and that their input is worthwhile. I expect my students to work hard and at the same time, enjoy the process of self-exploration. My hope is that they become life-long learners in the pursuit of their goals and dreams.
