My Education and Professional Background
- I graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelor's in Special Education. Additionally, I obtained an English Language Arts endorsement.
- I attended graduate school at the University of St. Francis in Illinois where I earned my English as a Second Language degree.
2013-2019: Taught Special Education at the secondary level within the suburbs of Chicago.
2020-2021: Taught English as a Second Language at the secondary level in Knoxville, Tennessee.
2021-Present: I am an English co-teacher for 10th grade ELA at Casteel High School! I also teach Resource English, and Interpersonal Strategies.
My Educational Philosophy
My goal is to continue to challenge students and watch them grow to their full potential. It is my priority to create a student-centered learning environment where all student can learn and want to learn.
