About
Woodman...
Welcome to 3rd grade! I am very excited to be teaching 3rd Grade at CTA Freedom! I am very passionate about teaching and I look forward to fostering a love of learning in my students. I am excited to meet my students and families as we dive into 3rd grade. Our year will be full of discovery and learning!
My Education and Professional Background
I have a Bachelor Degree in Health Science from BYU 20 years later, I decided to get a Master in Education. I have been teaching Elementary School since 2008. I have been trained in Spalding and Thinking Maps. My past teaching experience includes Title 1 language development and Project Based Learning for STEM. I am married with 4 children and a grandson. Our family loves to watch the San Francisco Giants play!
My Educational Philosophy
It is my goal to foster a love for learning that will continue after 3rd grade. Each child will be an important part of our classroom environment. I hope to provide each student with guidance and support to help them reach their fullest potential. I believe that education helps to prepare students for life in a meaningful way, and a person is never too young or too old to be a student.
