About
Arleo...
Welcome to Mrs. Arleo's classroom! I am extremely excited to be your student's teacher. I am sure that you will have many questions during the school year and I am always available to discuss your student's progress. I believe that educational success involves a strong partnership between students, their parents and guardians, and the classroom teacher. I believe in open lines of communication and will strive to answer your questions and concerns throughout the year.
My Education and Professional Background
I attended Arizona State University, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 2010. I obtained dual certification in elementary education K-8/special education K-12. I was the first recipient of the Certificate of Recognition Award of Excellence in my prior school district (2014).
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that students who have teachers who believe in them are engaged and eager to learn. I feel that the love of learning is infectious. If my students see my enthusiasm and my positive attitude they will learn by example. My desire is to create a learning community that is safe and welcomes diversity.
