    Hello! Welcome to Casteel. I look at every day as an adventure that brings new experiences and challenges. I strive to provide motivation and a fun filled learning environment. I'm originally from the beautiful state of Oregon and enjoy family vacations along the coast every summer!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated, locally, from Red Mountain H.S. in Mesa (1993). I attended Northern Arizona University for four years and graduated with my teaching degree from Ottawa University.  Following that, I taught in Gilbert and Mesa School Districts, teaching U.S. History and American Government. I have been at Casteel for six years, teaching 8th Grade Social Studies.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goal is to help prepare children to be lifelong learners who are ready to take on the future.
