    Welcome!

    I am very excited for another year filled with math!! This is my 19th year teaching math! I was at Hamilton for 17 years of my teaching career, and this will be my 2nd year at Casteel!!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education in Mathematics from Arizona State University in May of 2005 and my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at the Secondary Level from Northern Arizona University in May of 2007.

    I am originally from Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I moved to the valley in 2003. I have four fun-loving kids; Kolbi (13), Zaden(11), Manex (9), and Kamble (7). Our family enjoys traveling, watching movies, going to amusement parks, hanging out with family, and playing games. We stay busy with their sports - soccer, gymnastics, basketball, etc.

    My Educational Philosophy

    It is my goal to provide the opportunity for my students to think critically and be a problem solver. Learning is a lifelong process full of new discoveries, as well as recalling past lessons. In addition to teaching mathematics, I want to positively impact the lives of my students. I want to help ALL of my students to feel and be successful!!
