     Here are today’s announcements for Tuesday, September 17th, 2019:

    • Casteel Cross Country competed at OJO ROJO on Saturday and it was an amazing day -
    88.88% of the runners ran their fastest ever time (PR) and we had Jackson Rustad, Gibson Calamia, and Mary Matthews medal and finish in the top 10! Our freshman team tied for first and was led by
    Jackson Rustad, Gibson Calamia, Jordan Fearno, Max Godfrey, and Brightn Hatch
    also strong performances by Logan Johnson and Jacob Hullings a great day all around for the ColtsXC squad!
    Wish all your Varsity XC runners luck as they head off to compete in California this week

    • Seniors:  There is a survey on infinite campus TODAY only.... to vote for you class song, your class motto, and your class flower... It will take 30 seconds... have your voice heard... survey closes tonight at 10pm

    • Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet this Wednesday during 1st  period conference. We are close to going over the 100 students. We will play out our annual ultimate Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament. We have a great speaker, and a doughnut for coming in. If you need pass see Coach Callison

    • Dodgeball has come to Casteel!! November 1st we will be having out first dodgeball tournament in the gym.  So get your team of 5 together now. Cost is $5 per player. If you are interested pick up a permission slip from the front office.  Junior High will compete after school and High school will compete in the evening. Trophies and prizes will be given for the winners and the most spirited team.

    • Seniors? Follow Stugo on Twitter? if not, now is a good time, a poll for the senior shirt is active until Thursday, Sept 19th!  There are 4 designs to vote on ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Looking for ways to participate in the Believe in You Challenge?  Kevin Atlas mentioned how important it is to show each other support.  Our performing arts groups have concerts coming up and this is a great way to show your classmates they matter!  The Band concert is this Tuesday night at 7pm in the PAC;  The Orchestra concert is Thursday night in the PAC at 7pm; and Choir has their concert at 5:30 and 7pm next Tuesday Sept 24th.  Junior High choirs perform at 5:30 and High School Choirs perform at 7:00.  Also, our amazing improv troupe has their first performance this Friday night at 7 in the PAC.  We hope to see you out there supporting your fellow colts!

    • ATTENTION AP Students: AP exam payments are due by September 25th! Payments can be made in the Bookstore or through Infinite Campus so pay today!

    • Today Territorial Tuesday, hope “your” wearing your University’s colors!!  GCU will be visiting and we will have a “LUNCH JAM” on the west patio during lunch time!  Be sure to check it out!  There will be opportunities for lots of pictures!

     Here are today’s announcements for Monday, September 16th, 2019:


    • Are you feeling sick, pounding headache, need a band aid????
    If you plan on stopping by the heath office for any reason you MUST have a pass. 
    No Pass, No service, you will be sent back to your teacher to get a pass.

    • The Marines will be at Casteel on September 25th for a Scholarship Presentation, stop by the Career Center to sign up!

    • Swim competed in their first Invite of the season resulting in the boys qualifying for State in 7 events and the girls qualifying in 3 events. Good work swimmers.

    • ATTENTION AP Students: AP exam payments are due by September 25th! Payments can be made in the Bookstore or through Infinite Campus so pay today!

    • Woohoo!!  We kick off College Week today!!!!  Today is Makin’ Money Monday!!!  There are a lot of “professionals” at school today!  ๏Š
    Tomorrow is Territorial Tuesday, so don’t forget to wear “your” University’s colors!!  GCU will be visiting and we will have a “LUNCH JAM” on the west patio during lunch time!  Be sure to check it out!  There will be opportunities for lots of pictures!
