About
Kalscheur...
Welcome to math at Casteel High School. Math is not just a study of numbers, but rather discovering how and why numbers behave the way they do.
My Education and Professional Background
2016-2017 will be my 24th year in education. I have been in the Chandler Unified School District since 2001. Before teaching at Casteel High School, I taught 7th grade math at Andersen Junior High for 14 years, and before that I taught Social Studies and Biology in the Cartwright School District. I am a graduate of Northern Arizona University (Go Lumberjacks!) and I also have my master in education from NAU.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe all children can learn. When given the opportunity there is nothing that can not be accomplished through perseverance and hard work.
