Welcome to Honor Introduction to Engineering Design! This is the first class of the high school sequence for Project Lead the Way in which the students will gain an in depth understanding of the design process through application via hands on projects. The students will learn that the design process not only involves tangible models but simulated models using Inventor, a 3-D modeling program, and mathematical models in which they will learn how to use Excel to perform statistical analysis for process control.
This class can be taken for college credit. Information can be found on our school web page under dual credit.
All assignments can be found on my Google classroom:
Class will meet face to face from 7:35 AM until needed on even block days.
Attached is the classroom planner: Planner This has all the information of the assignments that the student will complete along with due dates. This planner will be updated when needed throughout the year.
